Wedding Requirements

Although I do help you customise your wedding ceremony to your taste, there are certain requirements specified by law which I need to adhere to. Once you and your partner have decided on a wedding date, we are required to complete a Notice of Intention to Marry form. In order to do this I will need to see your original full birth certificate and driver's licence or other photo identification. If you have been previously married you will also need to bring an original Divorce, Death of a partner or Nullity Certificate with you when you come to see me.

The Notice of Intention to Marry Form needs to be completed with a Celebrant no earlier than 18 months prior to the wedding date and no later than one month and one day before the date.

This was an amazing day for me as a Wedding Celebrant. The brides mother has been a friend for 49 years and when her daughter visited the Gold Coast from England for the first time 8 years ago said if she ever married she wanted to on the Gold Coast. This March that happened. What a special day this was for me as a Marriage Celebrant and a long time friend of the family.

A Gold Coast Dream!

Quick Tips for your Wedding!

  • When planning your beach wedding : keep in mind whether or not the tide will be in or out as the noise of the waves sometimes makes it difficult for the guests to hear the words during the ceremony.
  • Always have a Plan B in case of inclement weather.
  • Couples need to be aware it is not a requirement that they both say the same vows to each other during the ceremony.
  • Check if the cost of the venue includes carrying out a rehearsal close to the wedding day. A rehearsal is an important part of organising the wedding day so as the bride groom and wedding party are aware of where they need to be so as they feel prepared on the day.

Celebrant For You Should Be Your First Choice!

My goal is to help you both create a special, memorable unique Gold Coast wedding ceremony for you your family and friends to remember!

To Marry is the ultimate act of trust¬†- to take another’s hand and step forward into the unknown with hope and courage.
