Hello my name is Sharyn Johnson and I am a Qualified Civil Marriage Celebrant. I absolutely love my job as there is nothing more fulfilling than playing a part in people’s happiness to help you and your partner plan your wedding ceremony.

Being immersed in the wedding industry I am able to offer valuable advice on numerous venues that are available as well as providing you with ideas for your vows, readings and exchanging rings within your ceremony.

Wedding Requirements

Although I customise your wedding ceremony to your taste, there are certain requirements specified by law which I need to adhere to. Once you and your partner have decided on a wedding date, we are required to complete a Notice of Intention to Marry form. To complete this, I'm required to sight your original full birth certificate and drivers licence or photo identification. If you have been previously married an original Divorce, Death of a partner or Nullity Certificate is also required.

The Notice of Intention to Marry Form needs to be completed with a Celebrant no earlier than 18 months prior to the wedding date and no later than one month and one day before the date.
